Senior Consultant (m/d) (debate group 13 TV-L)

to cover 50% of regular working hours. It is a qualification body within the meaning of the Science-Time Contract Act (WissZeitVG), which serves to promote a doctoral degree in the field of natural sciences. The body is limited to 3 years due to the financing of third-party funds. An extension to the completion of the doctorate is possible within the limitation limits of the WissZeitVG. Cooperation in the above-mentioned research project Investigations of organometallic spin-crossover complexes in different spin states (temperature-dependent measurements) by means of static and time-dependent X-ray spectroscopy measurements Regular implementation of X-ray absorption and X-ray emission spectroscopy measurements on synchrotrons and free electron lasers in Germany and abroad Learning methods for and carrying out evaluations of the measured X-ray spectra (including TD-DFT calculations) Establishment and maintenance of active cooperation within the project, participation in project meetings and thematic meetings Compilation of publications and measurement time and third-party applications

Academic degree (master or comparable) in chemistry or physics Experiences in X-ray spectroscopy (X-ray absorption and X-ray emission) and in theoretical spectroscopy or inorganic complex chemistry as well as in the planning and execution of corresponding experiments readiness to travel Ability to work independently and targeted
