Product Owner System Administration DB2 z/OS (m/f/d)

As Product Owner, you are responsible for the technical solutions for the databases of our mainframe platform of the Agile Release Train (ART) “Platforms and Infrastructure” together with the Product Manager. Together with the architects, the product manager and the other product owners of the ART, you master the balancing act between innovation and modernization and manage to exercise operational responsibility with a high degree of self-initiative. You follow the goal of ensuring safe, economical and stable operation today and in the future for the basic components of the mainframe platform. From our IT strategy, you’re taking a vision for the solutions you’re responsible, developing a roadmap and understanding the defined target in ART and our IT customers. This included the effective use and control of the employees together with the People Lead. You are responsible for a stable and economical operation of the central z/OS database systems including the associated additional products. Your tasks include the active installation, configuration and maintenance of necessary database addition products and the trouble-free operation of the database procedures such as backup, supply, recovery, etc. In coordination with the DevSecOps developers, you will perform object changes in the test, acceptance and production environments.

You have a degree in Computer Science / Business Informatics or a similar field of expertise or bring comparable professional experience. Your high technical expertise in the DB2 z/OS environment stands out for you. You have experience in controlling tasks – ideally as a product owner. At best, you could gain experience in agile work in previous activities. In exchange with colleagues, you show good communication skills and convey a positive spirit. You have an inspiring ability and you can easily convey target images. Own responsibility and initiative are not foreign words for you. You bring very good German knowledge in word and writing (at least B2).
