Electronics technician / electrician / mechatronics technician for a qualification as a signal mechanic

You are going through a tailor-made internal training that supports you on your way to:to the signal mechanic:in. You develop your skills and learn extensive knowledge for your new role.

We are looking for you as a signal mechanic:in (w/m/d) for DB InfraGO AG in Hamburg-Harburg, Kiel, Lübeck, Neumünster and Schleswig. As part of a qualification, you start as a specialist: in the field of control and safety technology. In the first 18 months, you'll run several development steps up to the target position Signalmechaniker:in. You can also develop professionally.

During your training, you will take the following activities:

• You are responsible for the repair and assembly of different systems and techniques in the field of control and safety technology (LST) of our rail infrastructure
• Finding and eliminating cable faults in signal technology also belongs to your core tasks
• You carry out switching work in our control and safety systems according to predetermined switching plans and assembly of mechanical signal systems
• Self-employed and reliable work on the construction site, together with the team in the vehicle provided, is carried out by
• You enter electrical and mechanical indoor and outdoor installations, mainly outdoors
• Your core work time is from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional work at night and on weekends.
• You are going through our internal qualification program, regularly visit further education and are constantly learning

Your profile:

• You bring a successfully completed training of electrical engineering, e.g. as an electrician:in, mechatronic:in, electrical power in industry, electronics engineer:in for operating technology or automation technology, or a comparable training with an electrotechnical or electrical focus
• readiness for temporary assembly within the region
• You don't mind working outdoors, as many of our tracks are located
• You always work reliably, are team-ready and flexible
• A high level of commitment and willingness to learn for internal qualification will help you
• You also bring a valid class B driving licence
