Software Developer (m/w/d) Full time | Unlimited | 50968 Cologne

With lima® (SaaS), we offer more than 50 energy companies an IT solution for handling all commercial business processes. Our IT specialists (m/w/d) are the core of our success. Our approximately 90 IT experts (m/w/d) design and develop new IT solutions to ensure the satisfaction of our customers.

You design, develop and manage high-performance, secure and manageable customer portals for our target platform based on Kotlin with IntelliJ for use in the energy industry. Take into account both functional requirements and aspects such as scalability, user-friendliness and operation. You also ensure the further development and maintenance of our inventory application, which is implemented on the IBM i platform, and develop and expand modules with RPG IV (Fully-Free format), Eclipse and SQL. You translate technical requirements from customer portals and adjacent systems into robust technical solutions and ensure their sustainable implementation and further development. You play an important role in architectural decisions, support the team in complex technical issues and actively promote the further development of the portal and system landscape. You work closely with product management, UX, consulting and other development teams and bring your experience into technical concepts, reviews and best practices. Through clean code, automated testing, technical documentation and structured knowledge transfer, you ensure the high quality, maintainability and stable operation of customer portals.

You bring multi-year professional experience as a software developer, ideally in a senior role, with very good knowledge in Kotlin and modern software architectures. You have experience in developing and operating web APIs. You are safe to use databases, interfaces and service-oriented architectures. You have the ability to analyze technical requirements on customer portals in a structured manner and to translate them into sustainable technical solutions. You have a strong team and communication skills, a high quality awareness and a responsible handling of productive systems. You have very good knowledge of German in word and writing (C1 level) and the motivation to develop you professionally and technologically continuously.
