This makes this job interesting for me: By expanding power lines and transformers as well as connecting an increasing number of generation and consumption plants (e.g. energy storage, wind power and photovoltaic systems) to our network, 50Hertz makes an important contribution to the energy transition. The operational market and network integration of these systems requires, inter alia, the construction and operation of adequate counting and communication technology by 50Hertz. My tasks: I configure IT systems to enable data reception in and out of operation of counters, monitor the daily remote reading of counters and, if necessary, create replacement values for disturbed counters, I develop energy-economic measurement concepts for wind and PV parks in close coordination with customers and 50Hertz engineers, I take responsibility for the operational business processes of market communication and shape an appreciation, solution-oriented customer contact, I develop energy data management systems, in particular for the market role of the measuring point operator, I define requirements for future processes of measurement data processing in the MaBiS hub on the basis of regulatory requirements and my knowledge of operating operations, I actively support digitization and automation projects by controlling internal teams and IT service providers in the implementation of IT projects, I have been involved in regulatory changes, especially in the context of the Messstellebetriebsgesetz and the Marktkommunikation, and I work in associations to develop joint solutions.
