Your tasks include the professional and disciplinary leadership of the department, including employee development, personnel discussions and the management of the responsibility area. In addition, you are responsible for the sustainable development of critical suppliers and ensure process security within the supply chain through targeted quality measures. Furthermore, you control escalations and complaints with suppliers, analyze systemic causes of quality problems and initiate appropriate improvement measures. In addition, you evaluate processes and quality management systems with suppliers and support them in the introduction and application of QM methods such as 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa, Kaizen, PDCA and KVP. You ensure compliance with internal and external quality indicators, continuously develop the qualitative performance of subcontractors and monitor the success of actions initiated. Finally, you coordinate the use of Resident Engineers for low-performance suppliers and work closely with internal specialist areas as well as external partners to improve supplier performance.
You have completed technical studies and many years of relevant professional experience. In addition, you have a completed additional qualification as QM manager; a qualification as a QM auditor as well as other relevant trainings are advantageous.
