Head of IT Infrastructure (m/f/d)

In order to build and further develop our technical platforms and operational structures, we are looking for a management personality for the infrastructure department. Together with your management team, you are responsible for stable, secure and sustainable infrastructure solutions and actively contribute to the further development of our operating and platform landscape. The Groups Digital Workplace, Cloud & Datacenter and Network are located in the department. You build the unit in coordination with the Director Digital Solutions and IT. The technical and disciplinary leadership of the IT infrastructure department is yours, including the further development of structures, roles and employees. Together with the group lines, you control the operation, development and transformation of the infrastructure and platform landscape. You develop target images and roadmaps for topics such as cloud, data center, network and digital workplace, and You are closely related to IT strategy, architecture and security. You will be responsible for ensuring a stable, secure and economical IT operation together with your team. You will be able to control and transparently address the overarching priorities, initiatives and resources. You promote the standardization and automation of operating processes and the use of modern platform and operating models. Budget, capacity and resource planning are your responsibility and are in close coordination with the IT management. External service providers and partners are controlled by you. As part of the IT leadership group, you will help shape the strategic development of the entire IT organization. You promote a service-oriented, collaborative and forward-looking operation within your department.

Complete study of (economic) informatics or comparable qualifications Ideally multi-year leadership experience in the infrastructure or IT operating environment Experience in managing complex IT infrastructures (cloud, data center, network, workplace) Understanding modern operating models and platform strategies Experience in transformation and modernization projects High communication and coordination capability Strategic thinking and structured working Secure knowledge of English in word and writing
