Conception and implementation of Machine Learning and GenAI solutions for insurance business processes – from damage management to customer service and internal processes Development and optimization of (Agentic)AI systems based on modern LLMs Architecture, implementation and operation of productive AI frameworks in cloud environments Development of statistical methods and evaluation frameworks for measuring quality, robustness and business impact Optimization of model reference, latency and resource efficiency for scalable AI applications Close cooperation with engineering, product teams and specialist areas for converting prototypes into productive systems

An above-average degree (at least master, ideally doctorate) of computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics or a comparable quantitative subject Multiannual experience in data science, machine learning or AI engineering as well as in the development of productive AI systems Understanding statistical and mathematical principles of modern machine learning methods, in particular statistical inference, probability calculation, experiment design and causal modeling Very good programming knowledge in Python as well as practical experience with modern ML and DL frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, Hugging Face or comparable technologies) Practical experience in the development of Agentic AI systems with LLMs, including RAG, Tool Calling, Structured Outputs, Reasoning Workflows and Multi-Agent Systems Deep understanding of LLM and Agent architectures at system level, including Agent Orchestration, Planning, Inference Optimization, Context Management, Evaluation of Agent Behavior and Scaling of productive AI systems Hybrid working model: readiness for presence in Coburg
