Type of employment: Limited Working time: Full time Place of work: Horb am Neckar Master thesis title: Influence of different surface preperation methods on the connection of LMD coatings New: You prepare substrate bodies with different surface conditions (short pulse lasers, sandblasting, machining processes) and coat them on our LMD test facility Promoting innovation: You design measurement methods for reflecting/absorbing the laser power on the different sample bodies and analyze these Responsibility: You'll expose the layer adhesion of the LMD coating. By means of shear tests, hardness tests, metallography and REM/exposure microscopy as required. Completely implement: In coordination with our process engineers, you will address your sample series with high self-responsibility and initiative - from surface preparation to analysis.

Training: You study mechanical engineering, materials science, optics/laser technology, physics or comparable.
