As a system engineer (m/w/d), you develop the system design of modern ground-bound air defense systems and their subsystems with an interdisciplinary team of internal and external specialists. You will accompany the entire development phase of a complex system from the defi­nition to the verification and are the contact partner (m/w/d) for the specification and system architecture at your system level. The creation of associated specifications and architectures is one of your activities as well as the monitoring of systems or system elements from the first concept to the final acceptance; During the different stages of development, you will be able, in particular, to maintain the requirements and the associated instructions of the system to be developed. In addition, you support the communication with the customer and the technical support of subcontractors, also at international level. You are the driving force for solving interdisciplinary problems in the team and ensure the quality of your work by using modern, model-based methods and tools.

You have a successful degree in engineering, e.g. Systems Engineering, Air and Space Engineering, Machine Engineering or Software Engineering. In addition, you have some experience in research management or system modeling, as well as a systematic way of working by methods of the Engineering system. Expertise and multiannual professional experience in ground-bound air defense, radar systems or steering missiles is of advantage. You bring an affinity to complex large-scale technical systems, the capability to radio-related abstraction and ideally characteristics in requirements engineering (e.g. DOORS NG) or MBSE (e.g. CAMEO, Enterprise Architect). In addition, you have good German and English skills and are willing to apply them in an international environment.
