Principal IT Expert Meter2Cash & Utilities Processes (m/f/d)

Strategic responsibility: You take on the overall technical responsibility for strategically relevant topics within the Meter2Cash and Utilities processes and shape their further development within our SAP S/4HANA Utilities landscape.

Solution architecture: You are responsible for the development of sustainable solutions for strategically relevant energy-economic challenges, meet pioneering architectural and design decisions and control their successful implementation across organizational boundaries together with stakeholders from business and IT.

Strategy & regulation: You evaluate regulatory, technical and technological requirements, guide strategic fields of action and ensure their sustainable integration in processes and systems.

Control & Leadership: You control cross-disciplinary initiatives and take over the professional leadership of virtual teams as well as external partners to successfully implement strategic goals.

Consulting & Sparring: As a recognized technical and technical Sparring partner, you advise management, departments and IT teams on strategic and operational issues relating to core energy processes and the further development of our SAP Utilities solutions.

Governance & Standards: You set technical and technical guidelines for the further development of business-critical solutions, support teams in architectural decisions and ensure sustainable and future-proof solutions.

Analysis & Optimization: You analyze risks, target conflicts and dependencies within the domain, develop sound management and relevant committees and identify potentials for standardization, automation and digitalization.

You have many years of experience in the energy industry and a deep understanding of Meter2Cash and Utilities processes and their IT-based implementation.

You have successfully managed complex technical or technical transformation projects and have brought together cross-disciplinary stakeholders.

You understand to translate complex technical requirements into sustainable technological solutions and move safely to the interface between business and IT.

Ideally, you have knowledge in the SAP Utilities environment as well as experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities and the underlying system and process landscapes.

You bring experience in prioritizing strategic topics, developing target images and preparing decisions for management and bodies.

You have experience in the professional leadership of cross-departmental teams and external partners and understand how to align different stakeholders on a common target.

You will be able to work together with management, departments and development teams at the same time with a strong communication and consulting expertise.

You take responsibility, tackle complex challenges in a structured manner and advance topics with high self-initiative and implementation strength.

You have knowledge of German and very good English (min. B2 level) and you like to work with international teams.
