In this position as Referent Maschinen- und Verfahrenstechnik (m/w/d) Großwärmepumpe bei RheinEnergie you play a central role in ensuring and developing the mechanical maintenance of modern energy generation plants. Their special focus is on the support of the large heat pump as a forward-looking asset and on the support of the existing gas and steam turbine power plants. With your technical expertise you contribute significantly to the plant availability, operational reliability and efficiency of the energy supply. Within our area of power plants, we occupy the position of Cologne Niehl as from 01.01.2027

You support the operational mechanical maintenance business, as well as the planning and monitoring of major revisions in the environment of the gas and steam turbine power plants and the large heat pump You guide and control the work orders of the unit professionally and ensure efficient and targeted processing You accompany the construction and commissioning of the large-scale heat pump and bring your expertise during all phases of the project You develop, optimize and implement maintenance and maintenance strategies for power plant engineering facilities and plants with special focus on the large heat pump Preparing, planning and ensuring an economic, timely and quality-oriented implementation of maintenance, auditing, rebuilding and reinstallation measures, including the cross-works vote, is your responsibility You analyse operating failures, define appropriate technical measures for troubleshooting and develop sustainable solutions for trouble prevention and early detection of potential failures In addition, manage and coordinate the recurring statutory audits in your area of responsibility in cooperation with the approved Monitoring Centre (ZÜS) You evaluate and document plant changes with regard to safety-relevant, procedural and functional aspects and ensure their professional implementation Its responsibility includes the support of the gas and steam turbine power plants and the large-scale heat pump with a special focus on the new asset large heat pump

You have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Energy Technology, Energy and Building Technology or Cold, Climate and Heat Pump Technology or a comparable qualification You bring relevant professional experience of about two to six years in a comparable position with You have experience in the construction and commissioning of new installations You have extensive knowledge of the maintenance and process engineering of power plants, large heat pumps or comparable industrial plants You have a well-founded knowledge of technical project management and auditing or turnaround management You have extensive expertise in the maintenance and operation of boiler plants, gas and steam turbines, compressors, pumps, valves and equipment engineering Ideally, you have the qualification as a qualified person for pressure vessels and pipelines Advisably, you have a certificate of expertise “Category Certificate” according to ChemKlimaschutzV and EU-F-Gas Regulation (Category A1 and/or C) or provide the willingness to acquire it. This place is remunerated with the remuneration group 11 in accordance with the collective agreement for utilities (TV-V). This corresponds to a gross annual salary of around 68,000 – 89,000 euros (depending on professional experience and qualification).
