Number: MER00048XR In the Drive System & Application department, we bundle the development responsibility for the functional software and application of the driving capability, operating strategy and gears for current and future vehicle generations. Our focus is on developing competitive in-house vehicle functions in the field of drivetrain functions. We enable efficient, dynamic and comfortable coordination of all drivetrain components, such as electric motor, internal combustion engine, battery, on-board load and auxiliary units. For this exciting and forward-looking task we are looking for you as a student for the final work. Your tasks in detail: Use and Evaluation of the Resources of the TC39x Coprocessor from Infineon to Optimize Software Functions Implementation of a benchmark analysis between a TargetLink implementation and the use of the coprocessor using an FFT example Creation of test software performing and evaluating tests on the hardware-in-the-loop test stand and/or in the vehicle Documentation and evaluation of results The final topics will be discussed with the university, you and us. What you expect: Working with innovative software and application topics in the drivetrain environment insights into the development of future Mercedes-Benz vehicle generations Practical application of modern software development and validation methods Cooperation with experienced experts in software, application and vehicle development Possibility to work independently on a future-oriented task The activity can begin from November 2026.
