AG Bader is a new working group dealing with the immune response during viral infections. Our goal is to understand the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying postviral syndromes - with a special focus on Long COVID.

Responsible cooperation in animal experimental work, including implementation, documentation and breeding Characterization of disease patterns in mouse models (histological, molecular-biological and possibly imaging). assistance in surgical operations; ideally independent implementation of appropriate interventions after incorporation Self-fulfilment of molecular and cell biological experiments (e.g. PCR, Western Blot, ELISA, cell culture) Help with the organization of laboratory operations (orders, warehouse management) Close and reliable cooperation in an interdisciplinary team

Completed training as BTA, MTA / MTLA, CTA, Biology Laboratory*in, Bachelor in Biology/Biochemistry or a comparable qualification readiness to carry out animal tests; ideally, you already have experience in the animal house and an FELASA certificate (or the willingness to acquire this timely) safe handling of basic laboratory techniques; Experience in cell culture is beneficial Outstanding interest in infection research and work in the BSL-3 laboratory Structured, conscientious and responsible work Teamability, communication joy and interest in scientific exchange in an interdisciplinary environment
