System Engineer IT (m/w/d) You take over the operation, administration and the continuous development of Microsoft-365, Azure and Entra ID environments and ensure the reliable operation of central server and infrastructure components such as Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP as well as file and print services. Your area of responsibility includes managing and optimizing endpoint and device management via Intune as well as operating and developing virtualization and VDI platforms (VMware vSphere/ESXi, Omnissa Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop). You ensure a stable operational IT operation by monitoring systems, analyzing errors and processing incidents as well as service requests in the 1st and 2nd level support. As part of standardised IT lifecycle processes, you perform deployments, changes, relocations, updates as well as the exchange and extraction of hardware and software and also maintain mobile devices and mobile radio contracts. Another focus of your activity is the support and further development of central specialist applications, in particular in the HR and finance environment (e.g. SAP HCM and other HR/Finance systems), including consulting the specialist areas and support in implementing applications and interfaces. In addition, you will create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge database entries and user instructions and will be responsible for the structured management of tickets and IT assets in the ITSM system. Finally, you control and coordinate external service providers and actively participate in IT service management (Incident, Request, Change), including SLA monitoring, quality assurance and continuous optimization of IT processes, and willingness to participate in the 24/7 on-demand call support.

You have completed studies or training in the field of computer science, IT or comparable qualifications and have several years of experience in the administration of modern Microsoft infrastructures, including Windows Server and Client, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and Intune, as well as in the operation of virtualization and VDI environments such as VMware, Horizon and Azure Virtual Desktop. Finding knowledge in IT service management is a feature, in particular in the fields of incident, request and change management, complemented by experience in managing monitoring, ticket systems and in structured authorization management. Ideally, you bring practical experience in the care and further development of central specialist applications, in particular in the HR and Finance environment (e.g. SAP HCM and other HR and Finance systems), and work closely with internal specialist departments and external service providers. A pronounced service orientation as well as very good communicative skills are part of your profile as well as team skills, a structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as a high resilience even in challenging situations.
