Senior System Engineer Managed Services Microsoft Backend (m/f/d)

Development and implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure taking into account best practices and security standards Design and architecture of scalable and highly available Azure-based solutions, including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services Optimization and automation of cloud environments by using Azure DevOps, ARM Templates, Terraform and similar technologies Advice and support of internal and external teams in implementing Azure cloud projects Error analysis and performance optimization of existing cloud infrastructures Ensuring compliance and compliance with data protection and security policies Continuous development of your own expertise and the technical skills of the team Leadership and mentoring of less experienced team members in cloud technologies Escalate the priority problems to the team manager, project manager or service manager Provide effective training plans and concepts to train other employees and ensure their fulfillment Management of existing Azure and Entra services from the CANCOM product catalogue Management of Azure Enterprise Applications and Infrastructure Resources Managing user accounts, permissions and licenses within the Microsoft Azure environment Support for applications and troubleshooting Development and implementation of security measures such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Updates Ensuring compliance with organisational guidelines and industry-specific regulations. Monitoring the performance and use of Microsoft servers for Azure Infrastructure Optimizing configurations and settings for better performance and user experience Creation and maintenance of documentation on configurations and processes Updating via Microsoft functions and best practices that are implemented as needed

Complete training in the field of IT or equivalent qualifications/work experience e.g. B. Education, completed studies 8+ year-old relevant professional experience in the role Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Services and Products Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID Services Knowledge of Microsoft servers, services and applications Experience with at least 4 of the following topics: Windows Server operating systems File servers Identity and Access Management Common Azure Services Security (Defender, Patch Management) Confidence with PowerShell, Monitoring System, Event Logs, Performance Monitor, evtl Terraform Understanding the security features of Microsoft Defender / Microsoft Firewall Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem solving Professional certification in technical responsibility
