The employees of the Mercedes-Benz plant Hamburg develop and produce axles, axle components, lightweight structural components, steering columns and exhaust manifolds in the core fields. You also work on pioneering technologies of e-mobility. Modern welding methods as well as the combination of internal high-pressure forming and plastic injection molding were further developed at the site for series production. In your 6-month internship, you are part of our team and participate in the development of pedal systems and related product changes. The focus of the internship is on monitoring, evaluation and documentation of complex test series in our test laboratory. You can work with the hardware testing of pedal systems for current series production as well as future vehicle generations. These challenges include: Cooperation in the activities of experimental engineers

Processing into the measurement technology as well as the evaluation software of the test field

Working with complex test series in the field of pedal testing

Participation in the planning, persecution and implementation of experiments

Evaluation and documentation of test results

Participation in the procurement and production of prototypes and sample parts

Working with benchmark and patent analyses

co-planning of the extension of existing system and module units in the test field

The activity can begin from March 2027.

Study programme in the field of mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering/vehicle engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics or a comparable study programme
