(Junior) Makro-Analyst (m/f/d)

Design the future of financial markets with us. Macroeconomic research Together with your team, you will analyze global economic developments, from economics to inflation to monetary and fiscal policies, and will actively introduce your perspective. You contribute to the development and interpretation of economic scenarios and forecasts, focusing on quantitative models and various external sources of information. Analytical results prepare you structured and understandable to support colleagues (m/w/d) as well as decision makers as best as possible, whether for internal votes, presentations or spontaneous requests. With high service orientation and a clear, sovereign presentation, you bring your findings to the goal in a pointed and empirical manner, even in communication with customers (m/w/d). Data Analytics You analyze and process structured and unstructured capital market data and make them usable for macroeconomic and investment-related issues. You develop and maintain quantitative analysis and forecasting models and actively shape the further development of our tool box. Bring your own ideas from data analytics, statistics or econometrics and implement them in practice: creativity and initiative are explicitly desired with us. Investment processes & portfolio management You support our fund managers (m/w/d) through analytical impulses in the ongoing investment process. With your commitment, you are driving forward the development of modern analysis and decision-making processes, for example through applications of generic AI in research and portfolio management. Depending on individual development and interest, you can take on your personal responsibility for institutional special fund mandates and develop in a targeted manner.

Your competence for our common future. You have a completed master's degree in economics (especially VWL), statistics, mathematics, economic informatics or a comparable quantitative discipline. You bring first relevant professional experiences or practical knowledge in data analytics, quantum research or capital market research. With Python you will be able to handle; Knowledge of Matlab is welcome. You are inspiring for data, models and quantitative methods and are able to translate analytical findings into economic contexts. You are pleased with economic issues and are ready to take active responsibility. Experiences in dealing with financial data providers (e.g. Bloomberg) and with economic methods are advantageous. In addition, you have excellent knowledge of German, ideally at an almost native level. That means you communicate both in writing and oral safely, clearly and confidently. With this you are well equipped for daily work in the team and with customers (m/w/d). Your good English skills are a valuable addition. Structured, analytical and self-responsible work is of course yours. You appreciate a supportive, interdisciplinary team and are happy to be committed.
