Number: MER0003WT1 Mercedes-Benz Group AG is one of the most successful automotive companies in the world. With Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest providers of premium and luxury cars and vans. Our department (MO/CRRZ2) is responsible for creating and joining the side walls on the vehicle incl. Roof. Our main joining methods are resistance spot welding and adhesive bonding. Current projects are the construction of the MMA series of successors as a new installation and integration into an existing line. Theory alone isn't enough? Then it is high time to gain practical experience and work with exciting challenges and tasks. During your internship at the Compact Cars Competence Center in Rastatt you will learn the basic techniques and procedures of highly automated body manufacturing of the current and upcoming generations of the A/B/CLA and GLA class. Join us in the production area (MO/CRRZ2) and gain an overview of high-efficiency production with highest quality standards. The international production network in the Compact Cars Segment also allows you to participate in projects together with our partner locations. Project cooperation with planned new approaches

Working with the masters to control the cost centers via key figures

Working with the optimization of production facilities and workflows to ensure delivery

Knowing robotics in individual production plants

Application of modern analysis and evaluation tools (plant efficiency, measurement technology, body control, welding control, quality systems)

Cooperation with planning areas, suppliers and operators

The activity can begin from March 2026.

Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Logistics or a comparable degree programme

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office

Commitment and team skills

Analytical thinking and strategic working

Communication skills and creativity

Self-initiative and self-employment
