Lawyer / in-house lawyer with a focus on IT law (m/f/d)

As legal adviser: in our Legal Department, you are a central contact for our management, specialist departments and corporate companies with a focus on IT law. Legal support of digitalization: You advise our departments, bodies and corporations proactively and solution-oriented in all legal issues, especially in the field of IT and data protection law.

Enabler for innovation: You accompany the implementation of innovative digital products as well as new sales channels and ensure the legally secure design of the corresponding contract works.

Strategic vision: You keep your eye on the current case law and regulatory trends (e.g. GDPR, DORA, NIS-2, KI-VO) and guide forward-looking action recommendations.

Governance with Impact: You develop our data protection and IT security concepts strategically and adapt them to new technological and legal requirements.

Interface professional: You are the face of our legal department vis-à-vis supervisory authorities and external bodies. In addition, you strengthen our internal compliance through targeted knowledge transfer and training.

Process design: You take care of the ongoing optimization and digitization of our legal processes and work with various projects.

Your work location: As we appreciate our presence culture, the work location is at our headquarters in the beautiful Lübeck. Mobile work is possible in consultation with your supervisor on two to three days a week (no pure remote location).

Your technical minimum qualifications: You have a degree in law (at least the first legal examination) or a comparable qualification.

You have good knowledge of IT law.

You bring good knowledge in commercial law (trade and company law, competition law, civil law).

You have several years of professional experience in these areas of law or the clear willingness to work on the issues.

Good to know: We support authorisation as a syndicate attorney as best possible, but cannot guarantee approval, as this decision is not in our hands.
