Activity

The Server Management area is responsible for server-related services within the DRV Common Data Center. We collect and plan demand-oriented the requirements of German pension insurance providers and provide demand-related operating systems and virtualization solutions for our customers on various georedundant and standardized platforms. For this purpose, we specialize in providing and operating VMware, Red Hat Open Shift, Oracle Linux KVM and operating system-sided on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Linux and Microsoft Windows Server.

Your duties

Coordinate and perform the following tasks with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, Windows Terminal Server technology (Remote Desktop Session Host and RDS Deployment), Windows Update Service (WSUS) and Microsoft Key Management Service (KMS): Participation in the creation of standards and guidelines for the DRV Bund-IT Creating IT expert analyses, developing and implementing concepts or High difficulty IT systems as well as coordination, planning and implementation of IT processes Monitor and control IT procedures, problem analysis and troubleshooting High difficulty Planning, designing and documenting IT operations as well as processing difficult customer requirements Developing, implementing and controlling IT security and IT quality assurance measures Preparing and implementing instruction measures and cooperation in project or working groups and bodies (including intermediaries)

There is a need to participate in willingness to call on weekends and holidays. The site requires the willingness to carry out occasional cross-site business trips between Berlin and Würzburg.

Your profile

Successfully completed higher education (Bachelor or Diplom FH) in the IT sector or comparable qualification (for example IT-specific qualification) or completed IT training or comparable multiannual practical experience in the IT sector Multiannual job-relevant professional experience in IT with regard to transition and administration in the focus areas: dealing with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, Windows Terminal Server technology (Remote Desktop Session Host and RDS Deployment), Windows Update Service (WSUS) and Microsoft Key Management Service (KMS) Experiences in PowerShell scripts with high difficulty Ideally knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Cloud Services Experiences in the creation of design concepts in Confluence German language skills In addition to a high level of expertise, round communication strength, customer orientation as well as strong team skills and responsibility awareness
