Senior IT-Systemadministrator (m/f/d)

You take a central role in our internal IT and, together with the team, ensure that our infrastructure is stable, secure and sustainable. You are responsible for a wide-ranging in-house infrastructure position with plenty of design space: from servers, networks and virtualization to Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, to security, backup strategies and the further development of our system landscape. In addition to operating, you actively contribute to infrastructure projects and advance technical improvements with a structured, solution-oriented view.

Infrastructure & operation Planning, installation, configuration and maintenance of the entire IT infrastructure (server, network, storage, virtualization) Administration of Windows and Linux servers as well as cloud environment (Azure) Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO and Exchange / Microsoft 365 IT Security & Compliance Implementation and further development of IT security policies and technical protection measures Conducting Security Audits, Vulnerability Analysis and Patch Management Participation in compliance with relevant standards and requirements, e.g. in the environment of GDPR, SOC 2 Type 2 and BSI Basic Backup & Disaster Recovery Conception and monitoring of backup and recovery strategies Maintenance of Emergency Plans (Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery) Projects & Development Working on and managing IT projects, e.g. in the context of migration and infrastructure modernisation Evaluation, introduction and development of new technologies and tools Creation and maintenance of technical documentation Close cooperation with internal contacts

You have a completed training or study in the IT field and have at least five years of professional experience in IT administration You bring sound knowledge to Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (Ubuntu and Debian) You have experience with virtualization technologies, ideally Hyper-V You know about network technologies like TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN You have experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred) You use script languages like PowerShell, Bash or Python for automation Experience with monitoring and analysis tools like PRTG is desirable You work analytically, structured and solution-oriented and bring a high degree of initiative, sense of responsibility and team spirit with You communicate clearly and bindingly and keep an overview even in complex situations You have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
