At our location in Kirchheim near Munich, you will significantly shape our monitoring and logging landscape and develop it continuously. You work at the interface between infrastructure, operation and IT security and make a decisive contribution to the early detection and defence of threats. What is there to do? A secure IT infrastructure is one of the key performance requirements for state-of-the-art public authorities and companies. The threats are constantly changing. Genoa is a subsidiary of the Bundesdruckerei Group and a close cooperation partner of the BSI. After extensive integration, you will perform the following tasks:

• Operation, development and optimization of a highly available monitoring and logging platform for on-premise and cloud environments
• Construction, implementation and continuous development of an SIEM system including definition of log sources, use cases and dashboards
• Analysis and evaluation of new technologies in the field of logging, monitoring and security, and derivation of optimization measures
• Development of security measures in the sense of SecOps, e.g. in the areas of Incident Response, Threat Hunting and System Curing
• Conception and implementation of automated alerting and reporting processes and integration into existing ticket and communication systems
• Creation of regular reports on security incidents, system performance and project status for stakeholders and management
• Close cooperation with internal IT teams, security functions (e.g. CISO) as well as project teams and introduction of professional expertise
• Planning and implementation of IT projects taking into account time, cost and quality objectives
• Administration and development of Unix/Linux and Windows system landscapes as well as network infrastructures

That's what you bring

• Complete technical training, a corresponding study or comparable practical experience
• Multiannual experience in the administration of complex IT infrastructures, especially in the Unix/Linux environment (Windows knowledge required)
• Knowledge of logging, monitoring and ideally SIEM systems
• Experience in IT project management and implementation of technical projects
• Embossed analytical skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• High service orientation, reliability and very good time management
• Willingness to participate in IT readiness
• Very good German skills (C1) and good English skills
