Responsibility for the proper, economic and customer-oriented acceptance and disposal of waste at the valuables centers in compliance with legal requirements. Ensuring the collection of pollutants at fixed acceptance points and by mobile collection throughout the city. Staff management and motivation of about 40 employees incl. Service and specialist supervision, employee talks, training organisation and personnel development. legal compliance and entrepreneurial requirements (e.g. working time laws, EANV, BetrSichV, UVV, ADR). Implementation of electronic proof of hazardous waste. Quality management incl. creation and updating of QM documents, participation in audits. Operational organization, demand reports, audit of accounts, control of personnel use. Strategic development of the pollutant collection and valuables center as well as annual economic planning.

A completed university degree, for example in the field of recycling and disposal management (B.Eng.) or a comparable degree As an alternative, a vocational training course of at least three years is available, supplemented by a corresponding continuing or continuing training course. Further training in the field of waste management (e.g. to the economic specialist) and a long-term professional experience in the waste management industry. Knowledge of waste, environmental and hazardous goods law and relevant technical rules (e.g. TRGS 520) Leadership, organisational skills, customer orientation, flexibility and loadability. Secure handling of MS Office (Word, Excel). Ability to represent the AWB Köln competently and customer-friendly to the outside.
