Technical Product Manager Ballistic Protection Systems (m/f/d)

You have the technical product response for the entire portfolio of ballistic protection systems You work closely with the sales, R&E, manufacturing, procurement and quality assurance departments in the field of product development and care. You manage the interface between technology, sales and public authorities You create technical product requirements and specifications according to various ballistic standards and textile components for portfolio and project products You accompany test, certification and product release processes and document these You analyse the market and competition for identifying new trends, materials and protection concepts and accompany the product strategy and lifecycle management You support sales from the perspective of technology including product training, supply support and participation in the trade fair

You have completed technical studies (e.g. textile/material engineering, mechanical engineering, safety technology) or a comparable qualification You have several years of professional experience in product management or in the development of ballistic protection systems, textile technology or composite materials You have well-founded knowledge of ballistic testing, standards and material science You are experienced in the handling of admission points and testing laboratories You are characterized by very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing You have the will to travel nationally and internationally A strong technical understanding combined with business thinking, communication strength, solution orientation as well as a safe occurrence towards customers and partners complete your profile
