Head of Product Line Kiel Modules (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the timely production and assembly of the modules as well as platforms in submarine construction according to predetermined design and technical specifications. In doing so, you coordinate the provision of materials, components and manufacturing resources and ensure that all work steps are executed exactly according to the specified requirements. You pay attention to compliance with all occupational health rules, quality standards, time and budget requirements as well as all internal policies and regulations. You are responsible for continuously increasing productivity, efficiency and reliability of operations by using lean methods, data analysis and best practice approaches. You plan, apply and coordinate maintenance and repair measures; responsible management of investment projects under the assigned budget. You guide and monitor the shop floor operation, implementation of key figures (KPIs), daily production control and ensuring a smooth flow of information between production, planning and quality assurance. You are responsible for strategic positioning of personnel and material resources, promoting the skills of employees, implementing training measures and active motivation of the team to achieve the goals.

You have a completed scientific engineering degree, prior technical training and/or master certificate desirable. You have several years of experience in the field of submarine building and have already successfully taken over leadership tasks, e.g. as Deputy Head of Department. You have good analytical skills and organizational skills. You have a very high performance idea, determined design will and great enforcement capability, as well as very good organizational skills. You have high method competence within the framework of machine construction equipment, PPS and lean management. You have pronounced communication skills, outstanding social competence and a very high load capacity. Good knowledge of English and experience in communication with international customers complete your profile.
