The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit institution of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees.

The SOS Children's Village Schleswig-Holstein in Lütjenburg, in a scenic location near the Baltic Sea, is a diverse institution of child and youth assistance. With the Media Workshop 2.0, we develop a future-oriented learning, consulting and qualification site that anchors media education as a solid part of educational work.

For our SOS Children's Village Schleswig-Holstein, we are looking for a Medienpädagogin (w/m/d) on the implementation and further development of the concept “Media Workshop 2.0” in full time (38,5 hours/Where.)

In the Media Workshop 2.0 you have the opportunity to introduce your own impulses, develop innovative concepts and implement them independently into practice. A special focus is on the development and implementation of creative, digital media education offerings that inspire, strengthen and support educational professionals in their daily work. You develop and implement digital medienpädagogical continuing and continuing training offers for educational professionals, including online workshops, webinars, digital self-learning offers and hybrid qualification formats. You translate educational, legal and technical topics into understandable, didactically sound and directly applicable in everyday teaching. You qualify and advise professionals on media education, chance and risk competence, data protection, copyright, cyber bullying prevention, social media, gaming and the responsible use of AI tools. You design and moderate practical workshops on VR/AR, 3D printing, audio, film, photography, coding and robotics. You support teams in the field of media education, support collegial case work and help build a cross-device competence network. You develop creative, participative offers for children and young people that strengthen self-effectiveness, digital participation, reflectivity and protection. You document project implementation, promote knowledge transfer and contribute to an impact-oriented evaluation and to the derivation of perspectives for a consistent implementation. You implement child and care protection in a conscientious and professional manner.

You have a completed study of media education, social education, education, or a comparable qualification. You bring well-founded experience in the design and implementation of media education projects and adult education. You are safe in the development of digital learning and education formats and can prepare content according to target groups, barrier-free and practice-oriented. You have pronounced didactic-methodic competence and moderate learning processes both digitally and in presence. You have a high user competence in the media sector and follow technical and social developments attentively and reflected. You work independently, structured and cooperatively and bring joy to networking, knowledge transfer and conceptual development.
