As of 01.01.2027, the SFZ CoWerk gGmbH takes over the care and support of people with escape and migration experience in a residential project in the Zwickau district. We build on proven structures and at the same time create new, future-oriented support offers. Be actively involved in this exciting development process: For our Care area, joint accommodation for asylum seekers in the Zwickau district, we are looking for a Social Education/Heilpädagogen/Sonderpädagogen (m/w/d) in full time. The job is limited to five years and offers the perspective of continued employment.

Your tasks with us:

• Promoting self-employment, social integration and social participation of the accommodated persons in the housing project
• Individual social pedagogical advice and support in personal, family, social and administrative matters
• Information on rights and obligations, entitlements to benefits and, if necessary, forwarding to expert advice
• Crisis intervention, conflict management and implementation of mediating discussions in challenging situations
• Documentation of support work and preparation of required reports
• Cooperation with network partners, volunteers and authorities
• Ensuring proper operation and organisational processes during the absence of the residential project management
• Acquisition of readiness to ensure smooth operation

This will bring you:

• Complete study of social work, social education, medical education or a comparable qualification
• knowledge of social law and ideally experiences in the field of migration, flight or integration • Intercultural competence and an appreciation of people of different origins and situations of life
• Self-employed and structured work
• Foreign language skills, preferably English, French, Arabic or Russian, are desirable
• Place of residence in the Zwickau district to ensure a timely availability within the framework of readiness to call
