Number: MER0003WS3 Do you want to get to know the starting logistics at Mercedes-Benz and actively shape it? Looking for exciting tasks in the international production environment? Then come to us in the starting logistics (MO/SR) – we bring new vehicle projects to the road! We are looking for dedicated talents for a working student activity in start-up logistics (MO/SR): MO/SR is the central organization unit for the logistical protection of new vehicle projects. We ensure that the works are reliably supplied with material from the first prototype to the start of the series – efficiently, sustainably and on time. We work closely with internal departments, international suppliers and external logistics service providers. Our tasks range from the planning and implementation of logistical concepts to the control of start-up projects to the analysis and optimization of processes. Your mission: Active cooperation in the preparation and preparation of decision documents and presentations for management appointments as well as for special projects and ad hoc topics

Analysis of logistical data and derivation of sound recommendations for action to support operational and strategic decisions

Active participation in the development of digital tools and processes with a focus on efficiency, transparency and user orientation

Designing internal communication measures and events in the area of MO/SR including content preparation and organisational implementation

The activity can begin from March 2026.

Studies in the field of economic engineering, logistics, economics or a comparable degree course

First knowledge of logistic processes and project management of advantage

Safe handling of MS Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint, ideally complemented by experience with digital analysis and collaboration tools

Impressed affinity for digitalization and new technologies, in particular interest in AI-based tools and current AI models for analysis, automation and decision support

Independent, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation

Communication strength, team skills as well as excellent knowledge of German and good English in word and writing
