Since 1984, the drug emergency service Berlin gGmbH (formerly an emergency service for drug addicts and addicts Berlin e.V.) has been applied to people with a addiction disease as well as to persons who do not want to reflect or change their consumer behaviour. In addition, we inform about effects and risks of substance consumption. We also advise and support people who are in a medical substitution programme. We support the social reintegration, the participation in social life and the development of a sensory daily structure. Our work focuses on supporting children, young people and their families. On 365 days a year, the national drug emergency service consultancy provides advice and support for people who consume substances, as well as their relatives on all topics related to the consumption of substances. Consultation takes place in a person-centric and targeted manner. In addition to advice, the drug emergency service offers include the unique offers “Therapy Sofort”, “Entzug Sofort”, “Guidance Suchtberatung für Geflüchtete” and “SONAR – Safer Nightlife Berlin”.
