Transport Logistics Officer Sea Import & Export

You are a communicative personality with pleasure in logistics processes and a strong service idea and want to advance your career in a globally active company? At Würth Logistics you will strengthen our team Operations Sea Import & Export at its location in Dornstadt. Together with currently 6 professionals, you will take care of the efficient transport processing for our customers and ensure a smooth flow of goods. You organize and coordinate the orders for sea freight, air freight and parcel delivery, which are predominantly automatically running through our transport management system, and monitor the course of the shipment. In the case of partially automated processes, you collect the transport orders yourself in our transport management system, dispose of the shipments and collect the orders to the customers and the service providers. In our transport management system, you consolidate the shipments, shape more efficient and more cost-effective goods flows with the best possible cargo space utilization and thus contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions to the conservation of the environment. As a key point between customer and service provider, you are looking for a smooth communication and information flow. You are a contact person for requests for transportation, information on shipment status and complaints. In case of malfunctions, you’ll find quick solutions and complaints for best solutions. At your work, you are questioning the efficiency of the processes and continually improving the processes.

You have a completed training as a forwarding businessman or another commercial training. You have already gained the first professional experience in the forwarding/logistics industry. You work independently, responsibly and with high self-motivation. You master the hectic everyday life with well-thought-out working technology and speditiver working. You communicate verbally and in writing in stylistic German and at a good level in English. The experienced handling of MS Office programs is a prerequisite. Knowledge in TMS/SAP TM is a plus.
