Head of Environment & Permits Cement Plant (m/f/d)

In addition to a very varied day-to-day business, you and your team are looking forward to exciting large-scale projects from stone quarry expansion and recultivation to factory modernization. On the other hand, we focus on your innovation joy in developing and implementing strategies and measures to reduce CO2 emissions at work. As the head of a small, very dedicated team, you ensure that all statutory and company-specific environmental requirements are complied with. Of course, you also support the departments in their implementation. The implementation of the Group sustainability strategy as well as the ISO 14001 at the site also falls into your department. You are responsible for the collection and follow-up of all the permits necessary for the construction and operation of our plants – including plant changes, the use of new fuels or raw materials, water permits, etc. You are already assessing change plans in advance with regard to approval and environmental protection. Emissions and their reduction are at the top of your agenda. Emission measurement points, emission measurements and their evaluation belong to this as well as the production of reports, e.g. emission reports. You are organising all measures under the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading Act (TEHG). Environmental success is community success! This is why you work hand in hand with the specialist areas in the factory, especially closely with process technology. Together, you are driving forward the further development and optimization of environmental technology. In addition, you are constantly exchanging best practices with your international colleagues. Last, but not least, you represent the interests of the work in committees and associations and provide us with a good standing by means of transparent communication even with residents and interest groups.

Engineering studies focusing on environmental technology or environmental sciences Experience in environmental management of a producing company or an approval authority Comprehensive operational and procedural knowledge is a plus Fit in Environmental and Approval Law Ideally experience as Immission Protection, Waste Officer*r Communication strength in word and writing – also in English
