In StepWeise-Dornheim (Great-Gerau) you accompany young people—mainly with a refugee background—in an outpatient care setting that is oriented towards stationary housing groups, but without night or regular presence services. From January 2027, you will switch to our newly created family group for young people in Biebesheim. There the care will be carried out in a stationary manner according to § 34 SGB VIII.

How does your day look like • They support largely independent young people in everyday life, promote their self-employment and provide orientation in a cultural and social life that is partly alien to them. • As part of the reference service, you conduct self-help planning, social pedagogical didactics and target implementations. • They accompany young people in their social, school and professional development and promote all personalities. • In individual and group talks, young people support access to counselling services. • You will work with your teammates, team management, regional cooperation partners and the affluent youth office at eye level.
