EHS Manager (Herdorf - Germany) (m/f/d)

Your duties

Function as a leading specialist for occupational safety pursuant to § 6 ASiG

Acquisition of tasks as an immission protection, incident and waste officer

General responsibility for environmental, health and safety at work (EHS)

Implementation and further development of strategic and operational EHS objectives in cooperation with local management

Care, care and continuous improvement of management systems according to ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001

Planning, implementation and evaluation of internal EHS audits and derivation of appropriate measures

Leadership and further development of the EHS area with responsibility for 1 employees

Analysis, documentation and follow-up of work accidents and safety related incidents

Implementation of site visits, risk assessments and audits before commissioning

Creation and maintenance of security policies, operating instructions and EHS documentation

Advising the management and cooperation with authorities, professional association and external service providers

Completed engineering or natural science studies (Diplom/Master), ideally focusing on occupational safety or the environment At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of EHS and management systems, preferably in a manufacturing company

Recognition as a specialist for occupational safety and certification as an internal auditor (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001)

Knowledge of relevant laws, standards and BG regulations

Advantageous proofs of expertise as waste, immission protection and incident officers

Structured, strong and pragmatic mode of operation

Embossed communication and organizational capability

Good knowledge of English in word and writing (min. B1) are important, very good knowledge of German required
