Industrial Engineer / Process Engineer Production Lean / Shop Floor (m/f/d)

At the Salzgitter site you will find a production environment with complex manufacturing processes and an experienced team.

As an industrial engineer/process engineer (m/w/d), you work directly in the production environment and actively promote the optimization of manufacturing processes, shopfloor structures and lean methods.

Analysis and optimization of production processes, material flows and work sequences Identification of Improvement Potentials in the Shopfloor and Implementation together with Team Leaders Support in stabilising current production Introduction and sustainable implementation of lean methods such as 5S, Standard Work and Visual Management Moderation of KVP workshops and Kaizen activities Standardization of workflows and creation of work instructions and checklists Implementation of process improvements in work preparation Conducting time analyses, work sequence analyses and layout optimizations Development of Shopfloor Management and KPI Structures Analysis and visualization of key figures such as output, transit time or reworking Training on Lean Methods, 5S and Problem Solution Methods Coaching of team leaders and employees in the production environment Implementation of data-based improvement projects by Lean and Six-Sigma methods Cause analyses in process or quality problems Development and implementation of process stabilization and avoidance measures Close cooperation with production, quality, maintenance and work preparation

Studies in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or comparable technical qualification Professional experience in the production environment (Industrial Engineering, Process Optimization, Manufacturing or Lean Management) Experience in the application of lean methods (e.g. 5S, CVP, Kaizen, Standard Work, Visual Management) Experience with Shopfloor Management and KPI Systems Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving competence Experience in carrying out process analyses and causes analyses High presence in the shopfloor as well as pronounced hands-on mentality Communication strength in handling production, team leaders and management Immigrant Police Department
