Senior Consultant (m/w/d)

The team: Our DBA team consists of an experienced service provider and three dedicated database administrators. Together we work in an open, collegial and solution-oriented atmosphere. We include mutual support, short decision-making and a strong team combination. Together, we ensure the stable, safe and performant operation of our Oracle database landscape and offer you an environment in which professional exchange and personal development are expressly desired.

These are your tasks You take the interface function and coordinate Oracle Software Upgrades.

You analyze and resolve application problems in the database environment and systematically investigate causes for behavioral changes.

You develop and implement solutions for changes in ongoing operation.

You support projects and areas of expertise in all issues related to Oracle databases.

You ensure reliable, performant and safe operation of business-critical and highly available applications.

You optimize and automate database systems and continuously develop them.

You are responsible for the operation, planning, installation, configuration, and monitoring of Oracle database systems, and you are taking on call readiness services outside regular working hours.

That makes you You have a degree in computer science or comparable IT training with a focus on databases.

You bring several years of experience in the administration of Oracle databases, ideally in versions 12c and 19c.

You have well-founded knowledge of high availability solutions such as Oracle RAC and Data Guard.

You have experience with Oracle Management Packs, PL/SQL, Advanced Compression and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).

You are safe in handling Unix/Linux operating systems.

You have very good SQL skills and programming experience, for example in shell scripting and PL/SQL.

Nice to have: knowledge of Oracle Exadata.

The salary margin for this position is 70.000 to 80.000 euros gross annually, depending on qualifications and professional experience.
