Conducting a market research into available software solutions from factory and value flow simulation software (e.g. visTABLE®, AnyLogic, SimVSM, VSM 4.0 etc.)

Creating a benchmark comparison of the identified tools using defined criteria (e.g. user-friendliness, scope of function, license model, export possibilities etc.)

Collection of a real value flow in a selected business area (including on-site analysis, interviews, process recording)

Construction, simulation and optimization of the recorded value stream in one to two different software tools

Assessment of the practical suitability and the benefits of the tools based on the implementation with final action recommendation

Creating a Handbook on Implementation and Use

Studies Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Similar Directions

Experiences in Lean Management, Factory Planning and Simulation Interest in Production Systems, Digitization/Simulation and Process Optimization

Analytical thinking and structured working

Reliability, initiative, communication skills and fun in complex technical contexts
