GASCADE is one of the largest operators of gas pipelines in Germany with a 3,700 kilometres long pipeline network. You ensure the operational readiness of all plants assigned to the operating range and carry out independent maintenance, inspection and repair work. You supervise the work of foreign companies, take over their acceptance and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements and technical regulations. You consistently observe the principles of working, fire, explosion and environmental protection and implement appropriate measures in daily operation. You actively participate in ordering, in particular in the procurement of replacement and wear parts as well as operating and auxiliary materials. You regularly take on standby services and thus ensure the continuous operability of the plants even outside the regular working hours.

You have a successfully completed training in the electrical field with specialist examination and bring well-founded knowledge in mechanics; Professional experience in this field of activity is desirable. You ideally have knowledge of the relevant control systems for gas systems as well as experience in the operation of systems with remote control and automation technology. You provide technical understanding for line sorting and knowledge in gas warning and gas sensing technology. You know the basic requirements of working, fire, explosion and environmental protection and apply them safely in the working day. You have good computer skills (especially MS Office), very good German knowledge of word and writing, increased readiness to travel and a driving licence of class B/BE; a trailer driving licence is advantageous.
