Principal System Integration Architect (m/f/d)

Development, maintenance and further development of policies, standards, governance mechanisms and reference artifacts for system architecture and integration in the context of system simulation, training, predictive maintenance and digital twins. Definition and establishment of integration concepts, interface architectures and data flows between S&T products and other HENSOLDT products. This is done in close coordination with the Chief Architects, Product Managers and the HENSOLDT Design Authority, as well as the S&T Governance & Architecture Team. Definition of standards, requirements, reference architectures and best practices for cross-system solutions and studies as well as advice on implementation. Consulting the engineering teams in early development phases to address integration requirements, dependencies and technical boundary conditions at an early stage. Assessment and selection of suitable technical solutions, technologies, frameworks and platform components as well as moderation of technical architecture and integration decisions with internal and external stakeholders. Active and binding representation of the requirements of S&T Engineering in product, project and enterprise architecture bodies as well as governance instances

Study/education: Complete study of computer science, engineering, systems engineering or a comparable qualification. Proven, multi-year professional experience in defining system, solution or integration architectures of complex technical systems, ideally in the context of software-intensive products or platforms. Embossed system thinking and experience in the architecture of distributed systems. Very good understanding of sensor technology, data processing and data-driven systems. Basic knowledge of relevant standards for system simulation, training and service desirable. Methodological & social skills: High communication and moderation capability at technical and management level, as well as the ability to mediate between different specialist domains, organizational units and cultures. High self-responsibility and willingness to design and resilience as well as willingness for committee work and proactive participation in voting processes. Pleasure to complex, interdisciplinary tasks and work in stakeholders-intensive environments. Willingness and motivation to continuously work into new technical and organizational topics Languages: German- and very good English-language knowledge in word and writing
