Hardware Developer High Frequency Technology / RF Development Engineer for Software Defined Radios (m/f/d)

Responsibility for the development of analogue and HF modules for flight radios. Participation in the entire development process – from conception to implementation to product qualification and production transfer. Development and certification of airborne electronic hardware, taking into account the RTCA DO-254 guidelines. Conception, design, component selection, simulation and optimization of circuits, among others for Power Amplifiers, HF Frontends and Synthesizer modules. Implementation of design reviews as well as definition of test regulations and qualification of assemblies and equipment for series production. Development of measures to ensure the delivery and serviceability of flight radio products throughout the entire product life cycle.

Complete study of electrical engineering with a focus on high-frequency technology, communication technology or a comparable discipline. Professional experience in hardware development and high-frequency technology. Knowledge of hardware design tools, such as SPICE, Microwave Office, CST or HFSS. Experience in programming, ideally with python, as well as security in debugging and troubleshooting. Very good German knowledge of at least C2 level and good English skills in word and writing. Structured and quality-oriented working methods as well as joy in developing innovative solutions and close coordination within interdisciplinary development teams.
