About the company Life aid Borken is part of life aid for people with mental disabilities Borken und Umgebung e.V. and the 100% subsidiary Lebenshilfe Wohnen gGmbH. The wide range of services includes, among other things, special and intensively outpatiently supervised housing, outpatiently assisted living, daily structure, school attendance and numerous offers from the family support service. In addition, care and kita advice, including social space projects and other activities to promote participation and equal opportunities are included. Around 200 employees are involved in the various offers; the annual turnover is around 10 million Euro. With new housing and support services in the region, the life aid continues its organic development and at the same time focuses on the changing needs of an older population.

Together with the pre-supervisor with business focus, you are responsible for the strategic and operational development of life aid and design the cooperation within the future double-headed partnership. With your social expertise, you will ensure high-quality and demand-oriented support and will continue to shape the range of services with a view to participation and equal opportunities. As a dedicated manager, you give orientation to the management team, take different perspectives and ensure transparent, viable decisions and a trusting organizational culture. You represent the professional interests of life support towards service providers, authorities and other partners, conduct content negotiations and shape cooperation with relevant public bodies. With a strategic perspective, you shape the sustainable development of life support, align the offers with changed support and care needs and represent the organisation with respect to the advisory board, the public and relevant networks.

You have completed your studies, such as social work, social management, (social) pedagogy or a comparable discipline that you qualify for the socially professional responsibility of this position. Finding professional experience in the social economy forms the basis for your activity; Experience in integration aid is advantageous. Your existing leadership experience and the willingness to develop in a comprehensive board responsibility combine you with a participative leadership understanding, open communication and the ability to make clear decisions at the right moment. As a reflected and approachable personality, you are convinced by empathy, willingness to dialogue and long-term action and shape the cooperation in partnership and at eye level. You bring an understanding of the special culture of a life aid created by a parent initiative and consistently keep in mind the needs of people with support needs.
