Inspection Expert: Acceptance Testing for Control and Safety Technology / Electronic Systems

Whether a control unit, a signal system or the energy supply of the railway infrastructure can operate safely depends on the work of the test expert. In the course of the high investment volume in the expansion and modernization of the railway infrastructure, we are looking for you as EBA-announced:n Test Experts:n for acceptance tests (w/m/d) for the Nord test area of DB InfraGO AG in Hamburg or Hannover. As a test expert: you take a central key function in infrastructure projects and accompany plants on the path to secure commissioning. In challenging projects, you can continuously develop your expertise. Your tasks:

You check the implementation of technical planning and systems of control and safety technology (LST) as well as electrotechnical systems (EA) as part of local acceptances You work directly on the infrastructure and evaluate the functionality, interaction and safety-relevant properties of plants – e.g. on control units, signal systems, traction control systems, power supply systems or overhead line systems under operating conditions You co-ordinate on-site inspection procedures with audit assistant:inside as well as project participants and ensure the proper execution of the acceptances In test reports and technical opinions, you document your results, evaluate deviations or deficiencies and thus provide the basis for the approval and commissioning of the plants As an independent auditor, you work with a clear focus on quality and safety and take responsibility for the safe commissioning of complex technical systems

Your profile:

You are accredited by the Federal Railway Agency: for inspection experts: for inspection in the field of control and safety technology or electrotechnical installations In addition, you have design and technology-specific recognitions e.g. for mechanical, electromechanical or relais-based control units, electronic and digital control units (ESTW, DSTW), traction control systems such as ETCS, web transfer control systems as well as electrotechnical power supply, overhead line or cable systems You also represent your technical assessment in challenging project situations securely and understandably and with a strong awareness of the safety-relevant meaning of your activity and communicate professionally and address-orientedly In cooperation with Testassistent:inside, project participants and other interfaces, you will implement constructively with different interests and stay structured and solution-oriented in challenging project situations. You have a class B driver's license and are ready to take regional and, if necessary, also supra-regional and in the course of breaks in the night and weekends.
