The SPU is the joint production unit of ZEISS. We produce key components for our ZEISS savings and are therefore the proficient and the hand of the pioneer ZEISS. With us creative ideas are implemented reliably.

Your role

Testing of high-precision manufacturing parts: You are responsible for the exact inspection and quality assurance of our manufacturing parts.

Reading complex technical drawings: You interpret and analyze technical drawings to ensure that all specifications and requirements are met.

Armor and operation of coordinate measuring machines: You set coordinate measuring machines and operate them to perform precise measurements.

Operation of various measuring instruments: You use a variety of measuring instruments to check the quality and accuracy of the manufacturing parts.

Self-employed shape and position tolerance measurements: You carry out independently measurements of the shape and position tolerances and document the results.

Translation of measurement results on machining steps and manufacturing machines: You interpret the measurement results and derive necessary processing steps and adaptations to the production machines therefrom.

You have successfully completed your training as a QS (m/w/x) or a comparable qualification

You have already been able to gain relevant professional experience in quality assurance as well as with coordinate measuring machines and thereby acquire deep expertise.

You bring very good programming knowledge to Calypso (forcedly required) and had ideally already an AUKOM training.
