Apprenticeship as a media designer in digital and print - Focus: User Experience (m/f/d)

Are you interested in digital design and want to learn how to develop digital experiences that create real added value for our users? Here you can move! From onboarding to the IHK final exam - while your training at our headquarters in Essen, we will teach you everything you need to know about the media design in the retail sector. In the next 3 years, you will support the user experience team during your training as a media designer or media designer.

In the Team User Experience - Your parent team - you support us as a full member in the design and visualization of digital products (Web & Mobile). You participate in the care and further development of our company-wide design system in Figma. You support the implementation of user research and competitive analyses. You will start presentations on internal communication and coordination with other disciplines. Work alongside the user experience team also in other marketing departments. Learn everything about Deichmann's corporate design.

You own the (special) Abitur with good grades, especially in the subjects German, English and art You have a pronounced creative imagination and ideally first experience in dealing with digital image and data processing (e.g. Photoshop or InDesign) e.g. through internships or side jobs You have a good feel for colors, design and typography You have an affinity for the topics sneakers, streetwear and fashion. You are responsible and reliable So that we can get an impression of your talents, we need work samples if possible. (e.g. from the fields of drawing, painting, photography, graphic and image processing)

Our UX team combines the needs of users with the company's strategic goals and translates them into consistent, user-centric solutions based on our Design System in Figma. In close cooperation with product management, development and other areas of expertise, we develop digital experiences that create real added value and continuously improve our platforms.
