As part of the multi-year qualification, you have the possibility to obtain licenses in the plan examination or Inspection of acceptance in the main areas of control and safety technology and/or electronic equipment to take over a significant key function in railway infrastructure projects. After your qualification, you take the following activities:

As a test expert, you will check technical planning and installations of control and safety technology as well as electrotechnical installations within the framework of new, re- and expansion projects and assess their compliance with applicable regulations, standards and safety requirements In the plan examination, you analyze technical plan documents, circuits and system relationships and assess whether the planning is technically correct, complete and authoritative. In case of acceptance checks, you will check the implementation of the planning as well as the safety-relevant functions and the interaction of the systems on site at the infrastructure – for example at control units, signal systems, power plants or overhead lines. During the purchases, you work closely with Test Assistant:inside and coordinate the implementation of the technical tests in the project environment In test reports and technical opinions, you document your results, evaluate deviations or deficiencies with regard to their operational and safety relevance and thus provide the basis for the release and commissioning of the plants

Your profile:

You have a completed university degree as an electrical engineer:in with field of energy technology, news and information technology, automation & regulation technology or a comparable degree course with an electrotechnical focus In addition, you have several years of professional experience in the planning, development or testing of electrotechnical systems or in control and safety technology, e.g. as design engineer:in, construction manager:in, district manager:in, project engineer:in, system engineer:in or test engineer:in You are able to make decisions with a view to responsibility and security, to represent your technical assessment in challenging situations, and to communicate results clearly, address-oriented – for this, you are talking German (C1 level) In cooperation with project participants and other interfaces, you work in a solution-oriented manner, implement constructively with different interests and remain structured and capable of action even in challenging project situations.
