research associate (m,f,x) for 3 years, 39,83 hours per week, TVL E13 We offer a vibrant research and teaching environment in a broad research group in Algebra. Specifically, research within the group is among the fields of algebraic groups, finite groups of Lie type, complex reflection groups and hyperplane arrangements. Applicants must have an academic degree (completed PhD) in a relevant mathematical field in algebra. Research experience in the theory of Kac-Moody groups, ind-varieties and the theory of twin buildings are mandatory. The appointee will be required to contribute to the teaching portfolio of the department (4 hours per week).
