Category Manager (m/f/d)

Analysis of product groups, customer purchasing behaviour, market trends and competitive situation based on specific KPIs Development and coordination of category strategies (sortment, price, promotion, placement) to increase sales and earnings Definition and optimization of the product range taking into account customer needs Planning and coordination of product presentation and shelf optimization at the Point of Sale Support for contract and price negotiations with suppliers and traders, as well as internal planning processes Continuous control of the category process and reporting of the key figures Use of optimization software to professionalize results

Graduate degree with focus on marketing / sales, as well as at least three years of professional experience in Category Management in the FMCG environment - ideally in the food industry Outstanding analytical skills, high numerical affinity and understanding for market and competitive analyses Tracking key figures, compiling reports and providing insights for management and for our customers Safe handling of MS Office and analysis tools, comprehensive knowledge of relevant panel data (e.g. YouGov, Nielsen / Circana), and ideally a GS1 Category Management certification
