Number: MER00040WW In the design area of the Mercedes-Benz Technology Center, we create the automotive generations of the future. As a department 'Studio Engineering Interior & BAK', we work in the team on the technical protection of innovative interior concepts as well as on operating and display components (BAK). We are in close cooperation with both the design department and the development. As part of the internship, you actively participate in the development and decision-making processes for the implementation of the interior concepts of the future. These challenges include: Technical protection of design models

Concept creation and CAD modelling

Concept visualization and preparation of discussion and presentation documents

Participation in the development of interior and UI concepts

Package investigations, analysis of design and supplier data

Creating design drawings for model construction

Support for model development

Research on current and future competitors & innovations

The activity can begin from September 2026.

Course in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & Design, Mechanical Engineering, Product Development or a comparable degree course

CAD and EDV knowledge (e.g. Siemens NX, ICEM Surf, AUTODESK ALIAS, Blender)

Experience with visualization tools (e.g. AUTODESK VRED, Blender, Adobe Tools) are advantageous

Safe handling of MS Office

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Personal competencies:

Engagement, team skills and creativity

Analytical thinking and strategic working

Interest in automotive design and technical understanding

Affinity for the product is desirable
