Senior Messaging Engineer (M365 / Email Infrastructure) (m/f/d)

Our highly qualified and experienced team ensures trouble-free, safe and efficient communication. We are responsible for optimal operation of various IT systems on different platforms and work closely internationally with many other teams. The following tasks await you: You bear the technical responsibility for architecture, operation and further development of the company-wide messaging and collaboration platforms. You are responsible for designing, designing and implementing secure, high-availability and performant e-mail infrastructure solutions taking into account security and compliance requirements. You conduct various projects  (e.g. migration, modernization, cloud integration) and tune them with internal and external stakeholders. You support the team  . in the automation and optimization of operating and monitoring processes to increase efficiency and service quality. Other tasks include the coordination of technical activities in the team, knowledge transfer, and representation of the subject area to management and disciplines.

Complete IT training as well as several years of experience in the engineering and operation of messaging environments. We expect sound knowledge of enterprise email architectures (e.g. M365, hybrid environments) and email security products (e.g. Proofpoint and Microsoft). The programming knowledge and experience in automation (e.g. with PowerShell) and understanding of IT security and compliance requirements are very helpful. You already have project and implementation competencies and feel comfortable to advance technical topics and to take over professional and organizational responsibility in a perspective. Analytical thinking, clear communication, and the ability to act under pressure also belong to your strengths. Ideally, you have experiences in the administration of HCL Domino infrastructure. We also expect very good knowledge of German and English, as well as willingness to attend occasional service trips.
