The Caritas Association for the City of Bonn is the local welfare association of the Catholic Church. With more than 1,000 employees, we offer support for people in the areas of children, youth and family, integration and rehabilitation as well as life and living in age and illness. In our more than 60 different facilities and services we accompany people according to the personal situation of life. As a partner of the city society, we actively promote social cooperation and social participation for all people in the federal city of Bonn. The Employment Advisory Centre offers various counselling services aimed at unemployed people, returning to work, people threatened with unemployment, and employees who receive increasing SGB II benefits. In addition, consultations on working exploitation are offered. The Work Advisory Centre is run in joint partnership with the Diakonische Werk Bonn and Region. We are now looking for a*n for the employment consultancy

Your tasks: • They advise people in precarious working conditions on their rights and duties and help in finding legal lawyers. • They support people in precarious working conditions in developing a further career orientation and inform about suitable training and employment opportunities. • They support people in precarious employment in economic, psychosocial and legal issues and inform about further assistance. • They offer preventive informative workshops, group offers and promotions.

Your profile: • completed studies of social work, social education or a comparable degree • Practical experience in similar activities • Affinity on legal issues • Self-responsible action, communication and organizational talent • Empathy and appreciation • good IT skills • Experience in social media, such as Facebook and Instagram • a positive attitude towards the Christian principles of our association
